Supergirl Series is Ready to Take Off this October 2015

Are you waiting for Arrow or the Flash to start filming in their filming locations in Canada? Well while you are excited, we have great news as the DC world just got larger with another superhero in town.
We have the Arrow and Flash up on CBS, but the DC world just got more exciting with the arrival of Supergirl.
Kal-El’s cousin will be flying this October 2015. Fortunately we get to see her fly on trailer footages which are also posted in YouTube.

The Supergirl TV has a full season order from CBS. It will be featuring 24 year old Kara Danvers who is actually Kara Zor-El.
In the trailer, we see Kara sent to Earth also to watch over Kal-El – better known as Superman. Unfortunately her pod was sucked in a worm hole where she remained suspended in time until she landed on earth. She was adopted and kept her powers hidden.
Of course there is someone who knew about it. In the trailer we see her sister, Alex Danvers, who was worried over her powers getting revealed. Alex is Kara’s adopted sister and is a scientist.
Justice League villain, Maxwell Lord, is also coming to the show and will be played by Peter Facinelli (remember Carlisle Cullen of Twilight?). Maxwell is a tech billionaire who is in rivalry with Cat Grant, Kara’s boss.
Yes, Kara will be an assistant to Cat. Seeing their scenes together somehow can be likened to the Devil Wears Prada. We see Kara struggling and hoping to be more. That’s why she decided to be Supergirl after rescuing the flight where her sister was on.

Since Maxwell is here, we should also expect Superman to show up right? Well, that will happen as SDC confirms we can expect a lot of DC characters to appear in Supergirl. Besides, the trailer shows us a silhouette of the hero extending his hand to Kara.
There is also rumor that the show exists in the same world as the Arrow, Flash and the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow.
Supergirl will be out this October 26 on CBS. It will be every Monday at 8:30 PST right after the Big Bang Theory.
We really don’t know whether part of their filming location plans to feature a Metropolis style world but this is for sure: This show is going to be a hit. To check out more information about the show’s location just check out lightsonlocation.com.
